Our Services
At YogiMind & Body, we understand that not all therapies
are appropriate for everyone all the time. Sometimes we may need acupuncture,
sometimes neurofeedback will be more effective for what we are working
to overcome. Sometimes we'll need both. Our practitioners are all familiar
with the different modalities we offer and we work together to bring
you, our client, to a place of greater harmony in your body and mind.

Dr.
Afsheen Nehoray, L.Ac.
Afsheen Nehoray, L.Ac., offers his clients specialized
expertise in acupuncture and Chinese medicine and caring for the
mind, body and emotions. Through Health Within, Nehoray examines
the root of a patient's symptoms and uses acupuncture and Chinese
medicine to treat the underlying problem, rather than suppress
the symptoms. Nehoray's staff support his vision of a healing
center that provides a tranquil setting, where each patient is
treated as a whole person, and receives the time and attention
needed to complete the healing process.
Using a combination of Japanese and Chinese acupuncture
techniques, Nehoray has helped his patients improve their health,
alleviate pain and find natural effective relief. Harmony is restored
to the body and mind with these practices that have been proven
over many centuries.

Dr.
Ian Mussman, N.D.
Dr. Ian Mussman graduated from the National College
of Naturopathic Medicine in 1986. He uses natural remedies to
eliminate the imbalances in the body that manifest as physical
symptoms of disease or discomfort. The remedies he employs vary
from homeopathics to herbal supplements to patient-specific diets
and exercise and even into the realm of deeper examination of
the beliefs we hold and how those beliefs may be affecting our
physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
“Just as our physical lifestyles affect our bodies and well-being,
so do our mental, emotional and spiritual lifestyles. If we limit
our investigation into our physical well-being to purely physical
factors, we will likely miss the larger influence of these other
parts of our psyche and lifestyle. My goal with every patient
is not to simply relieve their symptoms – it is to expand
their consciousness through a greater awareness of themselves,
their beliefs, and their purpose in this life, and to help them
reach an understanding of how they can come into alignment on
all four of these levels.”
“Such an expansion in consciousness goes way beyond physical
symptoms – it affects people at their core, at the level
of happiness, peace, and fulfillment that they feel on a daily
basis. That is true health.”
In addition to these traditional Naturopathic methods, Dr. Mussman
uses a new technology, Digital Biofeedback Resonance Testing -
a means of detecting electrical disturbances in the body that
occur before illness manifests. By locating these disturbances
and identifying the environmental factors and internal blockages
that interfere with the body's ability to heal, Dr. Mussman is
able to target the areas of imbalance. As the disturbances are
eliminated from the body, the pathways to healing are opened.

Brandi
Bennitt, M.A.
Brandi Bennitt is a graduate of UC Berkeley,
holds a Master's in Organizational Psychology and is a Licensed
Massage Therapist as well as a neurofeedback technician. She discovered
neurofeedback in her search for a therapy that worked faster and
more efficiently for impatient people (such as herself) who want
to heal NOW. After her first few sessions of neurofeedback gave
her a feeling of patience and well-being that she had never known
previously, she largely abandoned her practice as a bodyworker
to devote herself full-time to neurofeedback. |
